Numismatics

Numismatics is the study or collection of currency, including coins, tokens, paper money, and related items like medals. Numismatists often focus on the history, rarity, and condition of these items, such as uncirculated "mint" condition coins, for academic research or collecting purposes. It covers ancient to modern currency.
